It is important to focus on only one thing during the swing. Other thoughts, e.g thinking about how well we are playing, our score, how far we are behind in the game, how well our opponent is playing just distracts our mind and makes it harder to create our perfect shot.

Just like you and me the professionals make poor golf shots and sometimes ‘kick themselves’ for doing so. As they have money on the line they must recover quickly and not have it affect their next shot. Mallory has this simple thought process.
