Attaining a hole in one is both a spectacular and rare achievement, however 'lucky' it may be. If you have achieved a hole in one, share your glory with the other members of the community.

Congratulations to Carlene Neil

Whilst travelling overseas recently my husband and I were playing golf with a group of surgeons from Australia at Spyglass Hill Golf Course, Pebble Beach, California. Where I got my first hole-in-one on the 5th (called Bird Rock). I was presented with a flag and certificate. Also the group I was playing with presented me with a small trophy and memorabilia from the course. It was a very exciting and memorable occasion.

Congratulations to Judy Simpson for her first Hole in One

I had my first hole-in-one on the 11th hole at Randwick when playing with my sister on Friday 7 November 2003. Even though we were only playing social golf, it was witnessed by the group in front and the group behind as it was very slow play. It was mind blowing!

Congratulations to Christine of Mosman for achieving not one but two holes in one.

On Friday 1st September I was playing in my regular 9th hole competition at Cammeray Golf Club, I got to the 9th (par 3) I must get a par to make up for a couple of wayward holes, and to my great delight I got a hole-in-one (hit the green and rolled into the hole), there was much excitment from fellow players and my Family (all golfers). On Tuesday 5th September, I was playing in my regular 18 hole competition, walking around the course enjoying the congratulations from other players, got up to the 12th (par 3), you've probably guess it I got another hole-in-one (hit the flagstick and straight into the hole). Disbelief, excitment, I was not sure how to react. My family (males) were very excited about the 1st hole-in-one but second is a little harder for them to take! I am quietly feeling very happy with myself 1 a 6!!!

Headline: Do you know who holds the Guiness Book of Records for "Consecutive Holes In One". Not only is she an Australian, right here in Sydney ! She is Sue Prell of Chatswood Golf Club.

This world event occurred on the 29th May, 1977, not so long ago. Sue was playing on a 19 handicap at Chatswood Golf Club. On the 13th hole, par 3, 122m long, with a 6 iron, Sue shot a hole in one. Pretty amazing by any standard. But, miracles can happen ! On the next 14th hole, 167m par 3, Sue, using her trusty 4 wood did it again ! What a great achievement !

Talking to Sue recently, this event is so vivid in Sue's mind! But then, why wouldn't it be, it doesn't happen everyday! Not even to the greatest players in the world such as the Karrie Webb or Tiger Woods. Good on you Sue, we are all proud of you !

Please send in details and if possible a photo of yourself through the Suggestions box to be displayed in the Hole In One Hall of Fame.
