The difference between women's and men's clubs.

The differences between women's and men's clubs is based on the differences in strength and size.

The standard women's clubs have a shaft with a softer flex, that is 1" shorter and with a lighter shaft weight that corresponds with a lighter head weight to maintain the balance of the club. Many of the less expensive may use the same heads for both their women's and men's that may not be ideal. ( PGF International -suppliers of the Futura Ladies clubs and Lady Optima golf ball )

As most of us are not standard size and weight custom fitting allows the clubs to be tailored to you exact characteristics together with your playing ability. Your local pros and golf shops usually can provide this service.
