Originally from the United Kingdom, Nicky brings to Riverside a wealth of experience in the game of golf both as a teaching professional and as a past professional touring player. Once ranked in the top 50 female golfers in the world, Nicky competed internationally for 14 years on the Ladies European Golf Tour, The Asian Ladies Golf Tour and the Japanese Ladies Professional Golf Tour. Her golfing journey also saw her play in the US Women’s Open, The Evian Masters and numerous Women’s British Open’s. Between 2003 and 2005 Nicky captained the Weetabix Challenge Ladies European Team, an annual competition between the elite professional from the Ladies European Tour and the elite amateur Curtis Cup Squad (Great Britain and Northern Ireland). Now retired from competing and settled in Melbourne, Nicky offers the public this unique opportunity to learn the game of golf from one who has been to the very top. Adding to her playing career and PGA membership, Nicky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Golf Management from the University of Birmingham, U.K. Course content included sports science, business and finance management, equipment technology, coaching science, rules and equipment technology. Nicky’s golfing philosophy is holistic in its approach addressing all areas of the game and all areas of the individual. Technically her teaching is based on traditional PGA methods that focus on developing the basic fundamentals of the golf game to ensure that her pupils, men, women and children reach their potential.
