A Great Day for Our First Tournament! The Women's Golf Club GOLDEN BALL competition was played under clear and sunny skies on Saturday May 31st as those involved had their first taste of tournament events run by Women's Golf NSW.

As part of the Centenary Celebrations this year, WGNSW are running a unique 3ball Stableford competition, where 3 players from every club across the state will go into a draw for a range of fantastic prizes at our Centenary Luncheon.

For the record, the WGC representatives in this draw will be "Lucky for Some", a team comprising of Rosemary Brooker, Gayle Burr and Jenny Clarke who won the day with a creditable 37 points.

They beat off strong competition from teams named "The Triple Birdies", "The Slice Girls" and the team who won the best named team award, "The Three Must Get to the Tees" (say it quickly)...

Thanks must go to those who put on such lovely weather and to the "Royal" North Turramurra Golf Club lads Nathan and Darren who made sure we all got off to a smooth start.
